Terms and Conditions

CANCELLATIONS: Following the purchase of the package, once a lesson is booked and the student does not show up for the lesson or fails to contact the school to cancel or reschedule the lesson before the 24 hours mark, a cancellation fee may be deducted from the package amount and the student is then responsible for paying the difference if that amount is required to pay for the full lesson afterwards.

1. To obtain the discounted package, it must be paid in full prior to, or at first flight.
2. Caps and logbooks are not refundable once used or exchangeable for monetary value.
3. Logbook only to be issued for free at completion of 4th lesson.
4. Package subject to user RAAus eligibility – the user must join Recreational Aviation Australia as a Temporary / Full Paid Flying Member before the flight takes place.
5. If the user has previously held an RAAus membership, a current membership is required to adhere to RAAus regulations for RPC flight training, meaning the free 3 hours of RAAus membership might not apply to the package.
6. Refunds not issuable if flight has been conducted. Should logbook or hat have been used, the value of the products will be deducted from what is refunded to pay for the product.
7. Flight time is based on engine HOBBS time.
8. Overseas students are not eligible to purchase our Intro Package unless they intend to complete their entire RPC training with us.
9. Customer is unable to purchase both the starter package AND a trial flight (either 45min or 60min). The privileges of the starter package and trial flights are not able to be enjoyed together, once a trial flight has been purchased, a starter package cannot be purchased after and vice versa – a starter package cannot be purchased once a trial flight has been purchased.

11. The maximum weight per person is 110kg.
12. Pregnant women and any people with serious medical conditions are not able to participate in this experience (but we encourage you to give it a go when you are able!).
13. Person must be at least 7 years of age.
14. GCSFT reserve the right to reschedule the flight to another date and /or time due to weather or aircraft availability
15. The holder of the package must contact GCSFT to book the date and time available
16. The user or their legal guardian must accept or sign an Indemnity before the flight.
17. The user partakes in this activity at their own risk
18. If the user cannot make the flight at the time and date arranged, he/she must contact GCSFT 24 hours before the scheduled flight (or 2 hours in the event of sickness) to reschedule the flight
